Bringing Birthday Joy to Every Child

Sugar 4 smiles is a not for profit organization that aims to gift food insecure children a birthday kit on their special day. We strive to give all children the experience of cutting their very own birthday cake. We believe that all children deserve their own cake and candles to blow, no matter the situation. This simple non-perishable kit, which includes a pan, cake mix, icing, a can of Sprite, birthday candles, and a card, can bring that same joy to these kids that we all experienced growing up. Though small and straightforward, it offers a spark of happiness and a chance for family bonding that these children deserve.

Hello everyone, my name is Sahil Kancherla. I am the founder and CFO of sugar4smiles. I am currently going into my sophomore year of high school and turning 16 this year. Sugar4smiles started as a passion project for me to fulfill my desire to help others in the form of my favorite hobby, cooking. I feel that memories and bonds that last for a lifetime are created in the kitchen, and I wanted to spread this joy to the world. I am very proud of what this project has gotten too today and hope that we can help many more!
